I watched the commentary on Good Morning America this morning, and I couldn't believe how one reporter was upset because Tiger Woods would not elaborate on what happened the night of his crash or on his relationship with Elin. I kept thinking: this is none of our business! The man is a golf player, not public property that we're all entitled to have a piece of. There's war and injustice in the world, but the media keeps wanting to cram down the public's throat the personal lives of celebrities. It's digusting!

With too many reporters, "reporting" on gossip, the story becomes about them. They put themselves into the story in a way to promote themselves, and to keep a story going long after it has no legs. This is known as so-called celebrity "journalism." What it is, is poop mouthing.
